Panasonic DVR/DVD recorder/hard drive (Price: $100.00)

Description:
I never thought I would want to sell this but I haven't used it since I bought a TiVo so there isn't any reason to let it sit around collecting dust. I used this hooked up to our TV with cable to record shows like using a VCR, except a DVR (digital video recorder) is much nicer than dealing with VHS tapes and navigating the recordings. Recordings can be burned to DVDs directly and you can use it as a DVD player to watch DVDs. I have used it to convert VHS tapes to DVD by attaching it to a VCR and I have burned some things I recorded off the TV. There is a little bit of editing ability in the software if you want to extract just a certain part to burn.

Additional Information: You can also use DVD-RAM discs, which are DVDs but rewritable. I rarely did that since this unit has a hard drive that holds up to 200 hours of standard video. This unit does not have an HDMI port, and is not digital conversion-ready, but if you are on cable, it works great. It even has its own TV Guide for finding things to record (assuming it still works now--I haven't used this device in about 4 yrs). You can also record by time and channel. These types of devices are very rare to find

New Super Slim/ 40mm chassis height is combined with a high gloss black acrylic panel with attractive silver accents and a bright front display to complement the latest TV designs.

Additional Information: I have too many DVD players and just want to get rid of ones I am not using. This one works perfectly fine and hasn't been used that much.

Additional Information: This is the first DVD player I ever bought and it still works fine. It probably has better quality parts than what you get in today's units. It is way bigger in size than most DVD players you find now, but the price is right if you need one.
